Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.  The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding colleagues in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting, high-profile, and highly visible Commercial Launch Operations opportunity to advance a first-in-Class RAS(ON) Inhibitor from market development to launch and report to the VP of Commercial Development. The ideal candidate is a very proficient and proactive operations lead with a strong understanding of commercial functions and launch preparation.  This role will be a connector across the organization ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, decision making and accountability for launch readiness milestones and deliverables.  They will be an integral member of the Commercial team and partner across function heads to establish a clear strategy and efficient execution plans. They understand the objectives of organizational launch readiness and facilitate productive discussions and decision-making. This role leads cross-functionally to achieve program milestones.   They also play a pivotal role in communications, ensuring teams have access to accurate and timely information regarding program decisions and assumptions. Operate as ambassador of the company, establishing the organization as trusted member of the healthcare community to all relevant stakeholders.

Overall, this role will work to support the organizational extended launch team. They not only care about the outcomes but build bridges, cohesive culture and focus on how we get there. The successful candidate will draw upon their experience to:

  • Understand the launch strategy, key stakeholders and interdependencies and works cross functionally to develop set priorities and execute against the plans.

  • Manage the integrated project plan and assumptions (accounting for goals, key objectives, deliverables, risks) to enable accurate business planning and processes.

  • Identify critical success factors and constraints, risks, and conflicts that could impact the timelines or budget; work with subject matter experts to construct appropriate mitigation plans.

  • Contribute to scenario planning (risks, and project strategy) to inform priorities.

  • Manage the preparation, review and submission of project documents, presentations, and communications.

  • Lead an efficient information flow within and across teams and help prepare materials for internal advisory and governance meetings.

  • Practice effective meeting and information management including timely meeting agendas and minutes.

  • Facilitate project team meetings, follow up on action items, document meeting materials and decisions, and act as a primary contact for project team related information.

  • Recommend and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes.

  • Drive adoption of project management systems and best practices across teams.

  • Support new programs and special projects as needed.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • B.A. or BSc. in Life Sciences with at least 8 years’ experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with at least 2-4 years’ direct cross functional operations teams.

  • Experience in Launch Preparations.

  • Understanding of key commercial processes, interdependencies, and regulations, coupled with strong proficiency in project management practices, tools, and methodology.

  • Expertise in developing and managing project scope, deliverables, resource requirements including, Schedule / Timeline management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including clear, succinct, and timely communication and proven ability to foster important relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex information into simple concepts; the ability to effectively interact across team line functions as well as with external key stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of good decision making and team cohesion.

  • Experience using Project Management software to manage project timelines and resources (e.g., MS Project, SmartSheet, OfficeTimeline, and OnePager Pro etc.).

  • Strong computer proficiency with MS Office suite, SharePoint and similar document archiving systems.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • MBA.

  • Prior experience with oncology launch.

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or other PM certification or equivalent is a plus.

Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This role will require that the employee meet with company employees and work from the company’s offices. Given that these essential functions of the role must be performed on-site, this position requires full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law.

The expected salary range for this role is $170,000 to $210,000. An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
