Job Description

Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.

 

Position

The Facilities Coordinator will work alongside the facilities team. Duties include but are not limited to; answering phones, ensuring phone calls are properly transferred, greeting guests in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner. Ordering and stocking all office supplies, assisting with various administrative duties.  Monitoring security cameras.  Managing badges.  Receive, review and assign work order tickets.

About You

A professional with outstanding communication skills.  Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative duties and executive support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible, and enjoys the challenges of a fast paste environment. 

 What You’ll Do

  • Office manager
    • Screen calls and forward as appropriate
    • Act as first point of contact for in-person visitors
    • Assure office supplies in building are available
    • Perform ad hoc assignments and administrative support
  • Work Order Management System
    • Receiving and dispatching work orders to appropriate functions
    • Track work Order completion
    • Create work orders as appropriate
  • Security
    • Monitor security Cameras
    • Manage Badging system
  • Other facilities coverage as required
  • Onsite Work in Millbrae Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

 Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is required. Bachelor’s degree is nice to have. 
  • Courtesy, professionalism and helpfulness when interacting with colleagues and visitors
  • The ability to speak and write clearly with colleagues and visitors
  • The ability to work effectively in a team while completing tasks with minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail and practical experience in a similar position
  • The ability to find solutions to challenges by staying calm and using analytical skills

The expected salary range for this role is $25/hour to $27.41/hour depending on skills, competency, and the market demand for your expertise.
