Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding colleagues in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
The Opportunity:
Reporting into the CFO, the candidate will work closely with work closely with the Accounting & FP&A teams to elevate and grow the Finance organization during period of rapid transition from an early-stage clinical development company to a late-stage development and commercial stage company.
Responsibilities include:

Commercial finance: Lead efforts of building out finance team infrastructure to support potential product launches with focus on revenue recognition, gross to net management, government pricing, inventory, and finance lead in managing third-party logistics provider. Review, select and implement any financial systems needed.

Tax: Lead tax compliance, including tax provision and required filings.

Strategic finance: Provide finance support to business development and corporate strategy efforts through due diligence, analytical research, review of agreements and related financial/accounting issues, and alliance management/collaboration support.

SEC Reporting: Review periodic filings (10-K, 10-Q, proxy, etc.) and provide expertise as needed.

Treasury: Oversee Investment strategy, compliance and reporting. Manage multiple external investment managers. Allocation of investment portfolio and cash modeling to fund ongoing operations.

Technical Accounting: Review and guide accounting organization through complex/technical accounting issues and related memos.

ESG Reporting: Lead peer review and ESG compliance efforts. Implement internal efforts to collect and track required ESG disclosures.

Research Analyst Reports: Analyze research analyst reports and summarize financial models and projections.

Ad-hoc analysis and support: Support CFO and broader Finance organization with comparative analytics, project support, audit support, and other ad-hoc needs.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of experience in finance and accounting;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally;

Ability to work independently;

Ability to identify potential issues or problems and find solutions;

Strong knowledge of SEC filings and requirements;

Strong knowledge of US GAAP;

Strong analytical skills;

Experience in reviewing accounting/tax terms in M&A transactions
Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Given that these essential functions of the role must be performed on-site, this position requires full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law.
The expected salary range for this role is $250,000 to $285,000. An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
