Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.  The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The opportunity

The Information Sciences department is looking for a Network/Server Administrator who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining computer networks and server systems. The role involves ensuring the network and server systems are secure, reliable, and available to users while meeting organizational needs and industry standards.  You will report to the Senior Director of Infrastructure and Operations and work closely with colleagues across all disciplines.

• Designing and configuring network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining server systems, including Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms.

• Monitoring system performance and capacity, diagnosing and resolving system issues, and performing system backups and disaster recovery.

• Managing user accounts, access control, and security policies to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.

• Implementing network and server security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antimalware solutions.

• Managing and troubleshooting network and server hardware and software, including servers, switches, routers, and other devices.

• Evaluating and recommending new hardware and software technologies to improve network and server performance and capabilities.

• Documenting system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain system integrity and support knowledge transfer.

• Providing escalated technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting issues related to network and server systems and providing guidance on best practices and policies.

• Collaborating with other IS teams and departments to ensure alignment of IT solutions with organizational objectives and standards.

Required experience, skills, and education.

• 5-6 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with Azure AD, Microsoft AAD, and AWS IAM.

• Familiar with Azure SD-WAN architecture.

• Experience with Zscaler ZTNA configurations.

• Expert with Meraki firewall, switch, and WAP systems.

• Experience in managing and implementing network segmentation and access control across on-prem and cloud networks.

• Project management experience, preferably with tools such as Smartsheet and Asana.

Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This role will require that the employee meet with company employees and work from the company’s offices. Given that these essential functions of the role must be performed on-site, this position requires full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law.

The expected salary range for this role is $105,000 to $135,000. An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.
