Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers.  The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.

The Opportunity:

As a key member of our Biology Research Operations team, you will:

• Support daily lab operations, including monitoring consumable inventories and supply agreements, laboratory equipment and service contracts.

• Be responsible for assisting with day-to-day maintenance and organization of shared lab equipment, including freezers, incubators, centrifuges, and biosafety cabinets to ensure efficient operations and cleanliness.

• Have a general understanding of basic lab equipment used for in vitro studies.

• Assist in building and maintaining electronic inventories of engineered cell lines, plasmids, and other lab stocks.

• Interface across functional groups as needed.

• Ensure both internal facilities and EH&S are in compliance.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

• Minimum of 2- 5 years of experience working in a science-related organization or laboratory space in a collaborative or shared working environment in life science and/or laboratory operations management

• Strong partnership mindset with verbal and written communication skills to interact with individuals at all levels quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically.

• Strong analytical, problem solving, pragmatic and positive critical thinking skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Ability to physically lift ≥25 lbs.

Revolution Medicines currently requires that all personnel and visitors to its offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This role will require that the employee meet with company employees and work from the company’s offices. Given that these essential functions of the role must be performed on-site, this position requires full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to applicable law.

The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000. An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics.
