About InduPro
InduPro seeks to discover and redefine cell-surface interactions to modulate biological pathways driving human diseases. InduPro platforms integrate inherent protein proximity at the cell surface with the ability to manipulate protein pairings using innovative molecular engineering to create novel signaling pathways.Job Description
InduPro, Inc. is bringing life-changing therapies to patients through novel cell-surface platform technologies. We are defining and manipulating protein interactions beyond natural signaling paradigms. InduPro platforms, integrate inherent protein proximity at the cell surface with the ability to manipulate protein pairings via induced protein proximity to create novel signaling pathways and logic gates.
The Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a skilled laboratory scientist to join our collaborative team. As an integral member of the InduPro team, you will be responsible for protein production and biophysical characterization work related to native and engineered multi-specific antibodies for discovery and therapeutic programs essential to InduPro’s success. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform and optimize purification and biophysical characterization of multi-specific antibodies and engineered proteins.
- Develop diverse analytical tools (especially high throughput assays) for protein biophysical characterization.
- Provide flexible and timely support of project priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Effectively evaluate, communicate, and maintain detailed and well-documented experimental results via ELN/LIMS.
- Design, schedule, and execute experiments independently, and collaborate with scientific colleagues across functional disciplines and departments.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications (strong candidates should have most):
- Scientist I candidates should have: PhD in biochemistry or related field, or BA with 5+ years relevant experience.
- Scientist II candidates should have: PhD in biochemistry or related field with 2+ years relevant experience, or BA with 8+ years relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of protein biochemistry and excellent data analysis are must.
- Experience on protein purification with different chromatography methods preferred.
- Extensive laboratory skills in various protein analytical methods including HPLC (SEC, HIC, IEX), DLS, MALS, CE/labChip, DSF/DSC, and Octet/SPR (affinity measurement and epitope binning). Knowledge of MS instrumentation/analysis and protein developability assays are helpful.
- Knowledge of protein structure and automation is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, team-oriented environment with colleagues from diverse disciplines.
- Excellent organizational, communication (verbal & writing), presentation and time management skills are required.
- A pro-active, problem-solving, collaborative, and goal-oriented mindset.
