Our innovative product engine draws inspiration from nature and evolution, which offer insights into cancer targets, disease mechanisms and therapeutic approaches.

Job Description

Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies. The Opportunity:

The DMPK Scientist will be part of the Nonclinical Development and Clinical Pharmacology (NDCP) Organization and play an important role in PK modeling and translational PKPD analysis for small molecule programs.

  • Manage internal and external collaborations to develop and refine physiologically based PK (PBPK), quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP), and pharmacokinetic-target engagement (PK-TE) models.

  • Build up infrastructure and data flow to expand and support in-house modeling and simulation capabilities.

  • Develop new PBPK, QSP, PK-TE, and PKPD models to support both discovery and development phase projects.

  • Ensure a high level of quality and rigor in current and future model building.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support additional computational modeling efforts.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • A Ph.D. with quantitative science background (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mathematics, Computational Biology, etc). 1-2 years of industry experience is desirable.

  • Proficient in the development, calibration, and validation of ordinary differential equation (ODE) and non-linear mixed effect (NLME) models.

  • Hands-on experience with modeling software is a plus (Simbiology, Phoenix WinNonlin, NONMEM, etc.).

  • Able to effectively communicate modeling assumptions, limitations, and simulation results to non-specialist and specialist audiences.
