Revolution Medicines is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit high-value frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. As a new member of the Revolution Medicines team, you will join other outstanding scientists in a tireless commitment to patients with cancers harboring mutations in the RAS signaling pathway.
As a Computational Biologist, you will:
Work closely with experimental scientists to prioritize and develop computational analysis plans.
Employ your expertise to distill meaning from complex datasets.
Explore and integrate multi-omic datasets that include DNA mutation, gene expression, copy-number, and modalities including single-cell assays.
Contribute to the development of analysis pipelines and computational tools.
Work closely with scientists, contract research organizations, and other collaborators to answer key questions related to our research.
Communicate the results of your work to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
Ph.D. in bioinformatics, genetics, or related field.
3+ years of experience with a focus on the analysis of NGS data is strongly desired.
Expertise in statistical methods as applied to high-throughput biological experiments.
Strong knowledge of molecular biology and genomics.
Proficiency using R, Python, or equivalent.
Strong scientific communication skills.
