Job Description

Revolution Medicines is seeking a talented Director/Senior Director, Investor Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactively leading all investor interactions and will serve as the primary point of contact with the investment community, engaging current and potential shareholders, and communicating with analysts. The role will report to the C-Suite and work very closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Senior Management Team. 

  • Manage a robust and wide-ranging investor relations program, designed to communicate with dedicated shareholders in order to drive investor awareness and build the Company’s long-term valuation.

  • Manage the investor relations outreach strategy to communicate Company’ progress through various forums, such as press releases, telephone contact, investor conferences (presentations and one-on-one meetings), non-deal road shows and financing events.

  • Together with management regularly revisit and, as necessary, refine key messages, investor presentations, Q&A materials to reflect current corporate messaging.

  • Manage a dynamic, effective and efficient investor relations plan, including a robust calendar of IR events to optimize visibility and outreach.

  • Manage and participate in investor events, organization of investor interactions (1:1’s) and non-deal roadshow activities, including targeting appropriate investors (new or existing) for each such event.

  • Respond to shareholder/analyst requests and provide appropriate information regarding the Company’s operating results, business strategies, and other publicly communicated corporate news releases.

  • Establish, build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and sell-side analysts as well as individual investors to provide a comprehensive and current perspective of the organization to enhance the value and marketability of the company; provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses to all external inquiries.

  • Ensure executive team is up to date on investor and analyst perceptions of the company; recommend and implement any necessary course corrections in messaging or relationship management.

  • Together with management, develop key messages to support all Company SEC filings and press releases and work with management, finance and legal colleagues in the preparation and review of all Company SEC filings, such as Annual Reports, 10-K’s, 10-Q’s, 8-K’s, Proxy Statements, and press releases.

  • Manage quarterly earnings release calendar, and related IR materials, such as earnings release, script, updated corporate deck, Q&A and related website updates.

  • Maintain rapport with the investment community by planning and coordinating visits from securities analysts and brokers, planning and attending investment community presentations, and responding to correspondence, questions, and concerns in timely manner.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement and manage an internal communication

  • Create and abide by a set budget for internal and external communication

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred; science degree (undergraduate or graduate level) is a plus.

  • Public company investor relations experience required.

  • Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience required, oncology experience is a plus.

  • Experience serving as point of contact with investment community, sell-side analysts, and shareholders (potential and current).

  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) required, including the ability to craft powerful and engaging messages.

  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills. Highly developed ability to describe the technical aspects of our business in terms various audiences can comprehend.

  • Strong understanding of SEC disclosure rules and regulations.

  • Proactive, high-energy, and collaborative leadership.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated planning and project management capabilities that will drive strong short term and long term execution.

  • Ability to work at a strategic level with members of the senior management team, facilitate teamwork and drive results.

  • May require up to 25% travel outside region.
